I haven’t a fucking clue if it’ll make a blind bit of difference, but I’m doing it anyway if only to see what it’s like going without Twitter for a day.

Yeah, there are some days where I don’t Tweet anyway, but that’s only because I’m busy on those days so I don’t have time. Today, however, I have precisely fuck all to do so I’m having to find other ways to amuse myself.

I mean, I’m writing a blog post for fucks sake. This shit is fucking unheard of. I usually hate writing blogs, but I just don’t feel right not spewing at least some shit out onto the internet. I guess if I stopped Tweeting all together then I might be able to write blog posts more often, but I don’t particularly give a damn either way so I might as well just keep Tweeting. Twitter is quicker, and I like that.

Anyway, I think the main reason I tweet is because it’s a more socially acceptable way of talking to yourself, because you can do it under the guise of talking to other people. Yeah, I don’t really give much of a shit what other people think about the stuff I write; I think it’s actually more of a way for me to keep my thoughts together and coherent in my head, by rambling a load of potentially incoherent bollocks online.

All in all, if I’ve learned one thing from this Twitter blackout, it’s that talking bollocks helps keep me sane.
